Brownfield birding II
Resisted a visit to Wentwood for the Iberian chiffchaff in favour of my local patch and the desire to photograph a yellowhammer - thats real conservation birding!
And you reduced your carbon footprint by avoiding a car journey! Eco-birding!
You're lucky you've still got yellowhammer within your local patch. The Penyrheol population has long gone. I'd rather see a yellowhammer back on our common than a hopelessly lost Iberian chiff-chaff any day! L
